A new era for St-Martin : Alex Jumelin joins us !! We have known Alex since the middle of the 80's. He was a young teenager when Manu and myself were old teenagers. After many years being just friends, time has come to work together. 8 months will be necessary to create and produce a complete range of "AJ" products. Please be patient. In the meantime, the first event where Alex will be St-Martin-mounted is the Circle Cow contest this coming week-end : Ferbruary 5th/6th. A warm welcome to you, Alex.

Yesterday, our long time St-Martin team rider Jason Forde sent me a message about his new bike with 2011 Evo frame and many 2011 parts. I like when riders share their visions.

Hier, Jason Forde, notre abonné anglais au team St-Martin depuis longtemps, m'a envoyé un message au sujet de son nouveau vélo avec un cadre Evo 2011 et beaucoup de pièces 2011. J'aime quand les riders partagent leurs points de vue. En anglais uniquement.

The bike feels real good. I cant feel the extra length that much, it was only 2mm. I do have an issue with the down tube, I just need to get used to it. (12 hours later :) nose wheelies are so much easier, I beat my record on whiplashes I even lost count. Also the down tube in not an issue anymore.

I was not sure about the handlebar. At first it looked a bit odd, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. It feels just right, function over fashion.

The crank feels so good, no flex at all, it feels so stiff.

But over all, IT FEELS LIKE A BIKE, I will miss the Downtown and the Eiffel, best frames i've ever been on.

Thanks again, this is the bike i've wanted for years now.

It is always good new when a flatland rider is picked by a non-BMX sponsor. That's what just happened to Russia's Alex Proshin with G-Shock watches. G-Shock made a short clip with Alex. That's a good deal for both... Thanks to Hell Ride for the info.

Les riders de Caen (Arnaud Gravey et Romain Georges) ainsi que Manu étaient en trip à Lyon et Paris la semaine dernière.
Pas mal de péripéties au menu mais surtout de bonnes jams et de bonnes rigolades. La vidéo sera en ligne d'ici peu, en attendant on vous laisse apprécier les photos de Margaux.

Arnaud Gravey and Romain Georges from Caen (Normandie) and Manu Massabova from Paris was in Lyon last week for a road trip. Lot of things and good jams on the trip and before the video (in few days), you can check the pictures of Margaux.

Rc's words about St-Martin made us happy for sure : "I've been running a St. Martin Eiffel frame for over a year. I did run a Wells frame for 2 years prior. Both bikes have all the St. Martin goodies. I want go give a big shout out to St. Martin. Old school tricks on a new school bike and it seems to work."

As a friend said when he was in Hong-Kong, looks like someone switched on the heating system in the street. Taiwan is hot in summer. That's not the reason for this new Taiwan trip. Main purposes : first 2011 production control + photo shoot. You'll see all those new items on this website by september 1st.
Comme le disait un ami de passage à Hong-Kong, on dirait que quelqu'un allumé le chauffage dans la rue. Il fait chaud à Taiwan en été. Ce n'est pas la raison première de ce nouveau voyage à Tawain. A few days ago, Guiri from Flybikes asked me to write a short text about our motivativation about using Spanish BB on our Superstar and St-Martin frames. As a growing number of BMX brands (+ some dirt-MTB brands), we strongly trust in the Spanish BB. Read our words (and our competitors words) on the Flybikes page. Spanish BB is good, so why use another heavier and overbuilt BB solution ?

Voici quelques jours, Guiri de Flybikes m'a demandé de rédiger un court texte sur nos motivations à utiliser le Spanish BB sur nos cadres Superstar et St-Martin. Comme un nombre grandissant de marques BMX (+ quelques marques de VTT-dirt), nous croyons au Spanish BB. Lisez nos mots et ceux de nos concurrents sur la page Flybikes. Le Spanish BB est bon, donc pourquoi utiliser une autre solution plus lourde et sur-construite ?

It is always a good news for us when a distributor rides one of our frames. Our distributors generally distribute many brands beside ours. That's the case in Philippines, where Renz Viaje from Flipbykes rides a Diamond frame. Thanks Renz for that orange bike.

A few weeks ago, we've been contacted buy Ramon Lopez Colon from Puerto Rico. He is not the future top pro rider for sure. He is just a teacher and painter riding flatland. Thanks to Sidewall, St-Martin USA distributor, Ramon can now ride on a Diamond frame. Let's wish him to be happy on this new ride.
Voici quelques semaines, nous avons été contacté par Ramon Lopez Colon de Puerto Rico. Ce n'est absolument pas le futur top pro. C'est juste un professeur et paintre à ses heures qui roule en flat.
