This year again, Fat Tony and Flatland Fuel worked for the promotion of flatland riding by making the 2011 Flatland calendar. St-Martin is one of the proud sponsors. New rider-owned distribution company : Delirium Family

Great news for Japan ! Taka, very long-time St-Martin rider, is not "just" a rider anymore. This month he started his own company called Delirium Family dedicated to St-Martin and Superstar distribution in Japan. It is a big step for him. We trust in his habilities to run a growing business. His love for St-Martin brand will ensure the success of the brand in Japan. Taka, thanks in advance for your good work.

We also want to thank Brett at Dirty Bike for all those years together. Brett, we wish a good future for both personal and professional activities.

Grande nouvelle pour le Japon ! Taka, rider St-Martin depuis de nombreuses années, n'est plus un "simple" rider. Ce mois-ci, il a lancé sa propre société de distribution appelée Delirium Family dédiée à la distribution de St-Martin et Superstar au Japon. Un gros changement pour Taka. Nous croyons en ses aptitudes à gérer son affaire de belle manière. Son amour pour la marque St-Martin assurera la crédibilité de son aventure au Japon. Taka, merci par avance pour ton bon travail.

The name is old, almost legendary, the bike is new. Darwin complete bikes are alive since today. Wait 2 weeks to see them on our website and wait between 1 and 2 months to ride them !!!

Le nom est ancien, presque légendaire, le vélo est nouveau. Les Darwin complets sont vivants depuis aujourd'hui. Attendez 2 semaines pour les voir sur le site et entre 1 et 2 mois pour rouler dessus !!!

St-Martin is partner of the Bicycle Film Festival in Paris, France, november 5th/7th 2010 (this coming week-end). Our mother company BMX Groupment dealed a global sponsor deal, Superstar and Focale 44 brands will supply bikes to be painted by artists and prizes for jams and contests.

Jason Forde on his 2011 bike

 

Yesterday, our long time St-Martin team rider Jason Forde sent me a message about his new bike with 2011 Evo frame and many 2011 parts. I like when riders share their visions.

Hier, Jason Forde, notre abonné anglais au team St-Martin depuis longtemps, m'a envoyé un message au sujet de son nouveau vélo avec un cadre Evo 2011 et beaucoup de pièces 2011. J'aime quand les riders partagent leurs points de vue. En anglais uniquement.

The bike feels real good. I cant feel the extra length that much, it was only 2mm. I do have an issue with the down tube, I just need to get used to it. (12 hours later :) nose wheelies are so much easier, I beat my record on whiplashes I even lost count. Also the down tube in not an issue anymore.

I was not sure about the handlebar. At first it looked a bit odd, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. It feels just right, function over fashion.

The crank feels so good, no flex at all, it feels so stiff.

But over all, IT FEELS LIKE A BIKE, I will miss the Downtown and the Eiffel, best frames i've ever been on.

Thanks again, this is the bike i've wanted for years now.
